Michael Murphy
Michael Brian Murphy, M.A.J.S., has two invisible disabilities: photosensitive epilepsy and non-verbal learning disorder. After being diagnosed with NVLD) at age 24, he devoted himself to learning more about it, and wrote NLD From the Inside Out: Talking to Parents, Teachers, and Teens about Growing Up with Nonverbal Learning Disabilities, now in its Third Edition. An adult education instructor, editor, and music nerd, he is also passionate about pencil-and-paper puzzles and games of all types and has constructed many different puzzles. In 2022, he published King Kong Sudoku: A True Beast of a Puzzle, in Living Color! His current project is a radical reform of the U.S. disability rights legislation.
